A Google rating of
With a rating below 4/5 for most of them, radiologists are not very well-rated on Google. However, it is estimated that 8 out of 10 patients read Google reviews before choosing a practitioner, and that 50% of them hesitate to consult if the rating is below 4/5.
Furthermore, and given the known quality of care in France, one might wonder if these results truly reflect the actual quality of services. This certainly reflects a real discrepancy between Google ratings and the actual quality of care provided. However, we observe a rather significant engagement from patients when it comes to leaving a review for the establishment. Indeed, the majority of radiologists have around 100 reviews.
Similar to dermatologists who obtain an average rating of 3.2 out of 5, the quality of care provided by radiologists is very poorly represented on Google. Once again, the results of this study demonstrate a real lack of communication between healthcare facilities and patients. This situation is problematic when considering the stakes associated with a good online reputation for healthcare facilities.
A good Google rating and numerous positive reviews reassure patients, allow their feedback to be taken into account with a view to improving the quality of care, and enable practitioners and the establishment to maintain a good image. So, healthcare facilities, give your patients a voice!
